The knife most associated with Spyderco

I personally would have to agree with Buzzbait. No other knife company makes one that comes close, except for the brief CS clone. And, it is fully serrated, another Spyderco identifying feature. Of course the endura is about 1/2 to 1/3 the price.

i picked up my endura (used, but in fine shape) for about 20 bucks.

i'd vote endura.

I have a few Spydies and almost all are users. The one I like the most today is my mini-Police tie tac knife. Mainly because I'm going to have to dress up for one of my nephews weddings and I get to wear it. Otherwise I've been through about 3 Delicas since 1995 (the seats at school pull them out of my pocket) and they have served me well. I carry my flat ground Jess Horn with white Micarta handles as a sort of dress up knife. The point on this booger is super sharp and digs splinters, glass and rocks out of my skin with ease. ...What was the question? Oh yeh, Police or Delica models.

I think it's the Police also. When I hear Spyderco I think of the Police. I bought one in 1988/89 for $60.00 and I was amazed at the quality and incredible cutting ability. I eventually sold it to a buddy and have regretted it ever since. My edc is normally a FRN Delica but I have a stainless Endura that has a similar feel to the Police but I will definitely grab another Police as soon as my wallet is healthier. I think the Police is the essential Spydie.

Definitely the Police with serrated edge. Prefer it over all other spydies including the Military which I really like as well. A serrated Police spydie has been my edc for longer then I can remember and is the reason I retired the worker. It remains my edc even though I carry a sebenza as well.

Although I've never owned it, I agree with those who say Endura. I'd bet more Enduras are sold than any other, as it's the more affordable version of a Police or Military (similar blade length/shape). Probably the most bang for the buck.

Endura. It can do it all. My new one is VG10 is SWEET.
What does Sal think of when he thinks Spyderco? He is Da Man after all.

I suppose that I don't really think of any one knife when I think of Spyderco, although for me, the Military is the flagship Spyder above all others. I would have to say the Military, followed by the Police and lastly the Endura as the Spydies that best represent Spyderco, IMO.

Military--Evolving Spydie that has gone through many changes through the years and considered by many(myself included) to be Spyderco's flagship model.

Police--What can I say, it's a classic....

Endura--Very affordable Spydie for the common individual who doesn't want to hurt his wallet, but still craves great quality craftsmanship in a dependable work knife.

The full serrated Police seems to pop up in the movies more than any other Spydie.

The Endura/Delica pair may be the best sellers and the Native may be my favorite - but the serrated Police has got to be the definitive representative of the Spyderco line. To me, it is the classiest and meanest looking design!

POLICE SS SE

This was the first Spydie that I ever owned, and the first that I had ever seen back in the early 90's.

Awesome knife.

I suppose we could deduce Spyderco's opinion on this from the fact that they chose the Delica to dress up into their 25th Anniversary knife.
