The knife that got you hooked?

I'd carried knives all my life, but the one that really ratcheted up my addiction was a Spyderco Endura with a 50/50 blade that became my everyday knife from 1994-2010. Still carry it occasionally but my needs and tastes have changed.

a brown handled kutmaster stockman got me hooked in knives, but an article years ago showing an animated type picture of what looked like a cold steel tanto fixed blade got me on the tactical path.

Buck 110! I still remember the first time I saw one, back around 1975, I was about 9 years old, I actually own several of them now, but in my opinion you can never own too many Buck 110's

MY first love was a Vic Spartan. Still now I have many and I cannot live without it!!
:)

Probably age 5-6 when I got to sit on my grandpa's lap and help him whittle sticks. Case red jigged bone medium stockman. Even though he has been gone a long time now, I still have that knife, and a few others of his. As far as my first knife purchase (with the help of dad), Buck 110 for scouts at around 12 years old. Still have that one too.

This was my first. Once I picked it up in a Big 5, I learned I could research knives on the internet, and it was downhill from there.

The knife that got me hooked on quality was the SOG Vulcan.
