The Knife that you can't leave home without.

I take my Spyderco Native about every where with me. I also used to take a Victronox Mechanic every where with me.

I have for many years (8+) carried two knives one slipjoint in a clip point and sheeps foot pattern and a lockback spear point pattern crafted by Paul LeBatard in elephant ivory. But lately, thanks to VCM and Fasteddie, I now carry a slipjoint Reese Bose wherncliff/clip shadow trapper and a slipjoint Reese Bose 4 inch Back Pocket in denimascus. I have yet to find a situation where I felt I was under knifed.

What kamkazmoto said, or: There's no single knife I can't leave home without, but I feel naked without a Vic.

Case trapper just like granddad used. Love that knive and I everytime I use it I think of him.

Vic Mechanic goes with me daily at work or around the house on saturdays. Screwdrivers and pliers are used much more than the knife blades. My Sodbuster Jr. CV is my favorite knife and always in my back pocket. So, I guess I have 2 that ride with me daily.

I carry a newer Benchmade or Spyderco every day. Not traditional at all.
When it comes time to hit the woods, water field, I feel naked without my SAK Soldier or my Case Medium Stockman in CV.

James, glad you're carrying that WT.

The knife that ends up in my pocket more than any other on a routine day, is my 3.5 inch Reese Bose 4 blade congress. Ivory scales, A-2 blades. Two blades with polished edges, the other two toothy. Fits my daily routine better than any other. Not sure anyone else would EDC such a knife, but for me, its too nice to leave at home.

R.Bose 4" BP 52100...now that I have a lanyard for it I will have it on me all the time.

SAK Classic on my keychain, some kind of medium sized slippie in the pocket, currently a Western Boulder whittler.

I may have others too, when I'm in the field or fishing, but I always have my small Chamblin Wharncliffe Trapper in my right hand pocket.

regretfully, my never-leave-home-without it is a bit more 'to the times we live in'. I always carry a slippie now days, for the pure joy of carrying it! But I go to work and carry with me from work, either a 'quick to deploy' emerson or spyderco endura, both with "the wave". Sad times we live in.

And Peregrin - That's an honest-to-God beauty!! Wow!!

My Victorinox Manager is on my 365 days a year. When I'm not at work I rotate Spydie clips on my waist band and another larger slippie in my other pocket. Right now I have been carrying my Case bone handled medium stockman, but my Vic one hand trekker is on me quite a bit. My stockman is taking a backseat right now to my new Moore Maker double lockback copperhead. I'm with El Chuchillo, pretty revealing thread.

i always have an victorinox sak in my pocket when i leave home. its like my american express card - i dont leave home without it!,,VWB.
