The knife the boss uses...

I keep thinking about getting a Ti Lock. Seems like a great size, right between the small and large Sebenzas. Only thing that holds me back, since I'm left handed, is that the pocket clip is positioned for right hand carry.
 
I saw one of Letterman's top 10 lists printed in one of our local papers last week; can't remember who he was poking fun at, but one of the list was someone who uses their own knife in a restaurant, implying it was a freakish thing to do....

Hell, I've done it! I've also said to the waitress when she brings the steak knife and warns me that it's sharp that it's not likely as sharp as the one I have in my pocket.
 
True, only right hand clip, but other than that it's fully ambi, unlike any seb. It's the kind of knife you get used to, like someone who is neither pretty or cute, but sexy and the pretty and cute comes with time and appreciation...:)
 
I've used a CRK to cut food in a restaurant more than once. I was recently at a potluck dinner, several people brought pies. Then there was that moment when they all realized no one had brought a knife. Well..... almost no one. ;)
 
It's rare that I eat out that if something really needs cutting, I don't use my LG something or other... Reg., 21. UM etc.... that goes for Cali. too. usually waiters take positive notice.... Never heard a negative word.
 
Chris is nothing if not consistent.
If you go out for dinner with South African's expect them to often use their own knives.
At the annual Knife Makers Guild Show in Johannesburg about a dozen of us go for dinner after the first day and almost every single person eats their meal with their own knife.
We get strange looks from the waiter.........but good service!!;)
 
When I was deployed to Afghanistan I was on a French base for a couple months one time. In there, EVERYONE used their own knife, and most used their own silverware.
