I've seen many posts on the perfect knife, the one knife to rule them all, etc.

Now at 3:26 am eastern time, I've found it on the Knife Show on Direct TV. It is the Sniper Assist Hand Grenade and features a glass breaker, seat belt cutter, and lots and lots of tactical features. Plus it is only $12.75:

That is the first time i have actually burst out laughing upon seeing a knife. Just wow.

That is absolutely insane. To think someone actually produced it!!

Usually I see crap like that being sold at flea markets. Usually by a guy driving (and living in) a 1981 Ford Econoline, with an airbrushed mural on the side which depicts a wolf copulating with a fairie (or a unicorn). The van also has at least one dream catcher hanging in it, and 5 bags of half eaten fast food on the floor. The guy knows his knives, though, because he served 13 tours in "the 'Nam". Amazing really, since he must have been about 10 years old in 1975 at the war's end (although it really never ends for some, or so he tells me) This elite soldier has a soft side, since he's also selling 4 boxes of heavily dog-eared romance novels, some of which may, or may not, contain ejaculate.

What is that, "TV"?

Totally off topic, but congrats on getting engaged. Mine lasted all of 3 months before we jumped the gun and went to the courthouse.

Thanks. Right now planning on October (10/10/10). At least I should be able to remember that. I think we are just going to have a big party with a pig roast and a keg and then sign the papers the next day. Neither of us want a big wedding and don't see the need to drop a lot of money on one so going the easy way.

We celebrate 2 anniversaries. The day we hooked up after 10 years since dating in high school (2-09) and our paper date (5-28-09). We didn't have a ring but the best I could do was give her a 2001 MT UT6 as an engagement knife.

If it was $500, I'd be begging the wife to let me score a once in a lifetime knife :D

I'll trump your Sniper Special with this most awesome-est knife ever assembled by tiny-handed children for $1.00 a week..
