I’m waitin to hear back from spark, u wanna make a dedicated thread with a link to the account. When you put a link in a reply it gets buried pretty quick and once it’s off the top page it doesn’t get the attention a dedicated properly titled thread would. In the mean time I’ll make sure the members of the community and his friends are aware of it should they feel inclined to contribute.

He attached a lanyard and wicked skull bead on the knife at no charge, just out of kindness. Class Act. RIP CM.

The szabo was good. So was the mamba. But my favorite wave mod/s was the Spyderco tatanka(s). He did a few of them iirc. There was even a video of him demonstrating deployment of the blade. Alas, that video is no longer available.

I think that’s when he started the “dave mod”.

A lot of people are speculating what happened to Matt. I just want to dispel some rumors. Matt fell in his house and hit his head.

I don’t know the circumstances of the fall or why he fell but he fell in the house, not his shop and his passing had nothing to do with making knives.

Thanks for taking care of all this and the gofundme. I miss Matt already he was a great guy and a lot of fun and laughs around here. Here's a Cold steel knife and it's sharp as a razor top and bottom. I loved his knife mods he had talent.

I sent a pm Matt about trading my emerson 7 for the hood rat as he called it with one of his cool kydex sheaths with the bic lighter holder. He told me to keep my knife and sent me this one in the video he did below. He had good heart that's for sure a true giver. Anyway Thanks again,

The above knife was a collaborative project between Freeman and I. He wouldn't accept a cent for his work.

I've known Matt here and on various social media platforms and telephone for a few years. We had somewhat of a similar background and he was a chief influence on myself choosing to be sober. I'm still incredibly twisted up over the news.

Good vibes sent to his family and cats. I hope Doctor Bob is doing alright.

How awesome. Man was he skilled. Continue on in Heaven CM!
