I own a couple of George's knives. I can honestly say that the quality and craftsmanship is unsurpassed. The one shown here is a skinner that I have actually used to skin and process 3 deer. It has never needed to be resharpened.

I apologize that my photographic skills don't do this knife justice. It is a beautiful stag handled skinner, with a tapered tang. It has some file work on the tang as well. It is unbelievably balanced for a stag handled knife. Beautiful mirror finish on the blade.

I was sad when I heard that George was not making knives anymore and was selling his equipment. To hear that he passed away is sadder still. R.I.P.
