THE "Knives on NCIS" Thread

The blade on the AFO is too tall to the one gibbs used. It was either a Emissary or Arcane.
Could be except the knife Gibbs had looked and acted like a push button auto to me. I hope they show it a little more this season. Maybe someone will be able to isolate a shot of it. Those types of skills are out of my reach. :)

What's wrong with the edge in that picture?
 
It's probably been dulled to uselessness by the props people for "safety".

When I worked on Revolution, all the knives or swords use by the main characters or carried by background folks like me were very dull.

The swords used by Monroe Militia folks were aluminum.

I was once issued a WW2 Camillus USN MK1 that was damn near mint EXCEPT for the edge. It had been dulled down to a1/16th inch edge. :(
