The Knob Creek BOSS Street. . . Satin with Black Paper Micarta!!!!! (Spy Pics)

Well anyone who's favorite coating is Bama Clay aint right anyway.:p:D

BTW, I checked and my satin and BP blades arent smelly.:)

I heard MM is an IWB carry guy, that may account for the phantom smell he associates with Busse's.

:p

No harm in posting pictures then... Unless you're gonna sit on them for the rest of your life, I'd like to think of myself as a future owner of one! :) ;)

There'd be no harm if I wasn't contractually obligated not to... But, as with all other owners of the BOSS Street protos, I gave my word that for the time being, these will not be shown. Sorry! :)

I'm probably the only one who prefers the double cut version. You can have your smelly satin and black paper :D

Now if they would only make a Bama Clay version....:p

If you don't like the smell of sweetness then I am sorry.

I have a KC BOSS Street headed to me and I could not be happier.:D

If anyone can act as a proxy for me please email me at smostatt at yahoo dot com.

Thank you,
Toast

It's funny that I've not even seen a full picture of this knife, but I already know I'll buy one when they're generally available. Yeah, I know I'm crazy.

You won't see any full photos of a Boss Street unless the Boss man himself posts them, or the blade goes up for general sale. There is a non-disclosure agreement signed by anyone purchasing a prototype of this blade. That means no posting photos by anybody. Hope that explains things well enough.

I was lucky and found a proxy to grab me one to go along with my Blade West Boss Street. I really like this blade a lot.

Best, Les.

I held one, and will just note things that you can see in the posted pics anyway. The handles are contoured, the slab edges are rounded, and the grooves provide texture without being aggressive. These features make for a very comfortable handle. I don't dance, or I probably would have taken one home.

Also, on a side note, I also like Bama Clay -- on some days, I consider it my favorite, while on others I favor Arctic White -- of course, Tanker Gray is pretty nice too...

lsheldon yours is boxed up, labeled and ready to ship once the USPS gets done with their vacation. You should have received a shipping notice today.

Thank you my friend. I really appreciate you braving the elements and trekking out there to get me that blade.

Best regards, Les.

Thanks for the explanation, but I've been around here long enough to understand the intricacies of Busse Combat marketing and sales. I'm patient enough to wait for them to put up pictures when they're ready, but the funny part to me is that if they put up an order form with no pictures, I'd still order one, sight unseen. I'm sure I'm not the only one, too. Not many companies can claim that kind of following.

I wasn't in such a rush to worry about proxy ordering, or the like, but I'm looking forward to getting a "Street" sized blade that I can practically integrate into my every day carry routine.

ah, but they are well worth the wait. hopefully Jerry will enlighten all HOGS very soon with this new blade. and yes, all who purchased signed a contract not to disclose them until Farmer of the Hogs "jerry" says so. Got mine playing with it as I write this!
