The lanyard thread!

I haven't made a lanyard yet, but will soon. I have made these:
Key fob:

"utility belts" for my kids. When I got the buckles home, I realized that they were wider than my kids' wrists, so I made 24" and 28" belts.

That sounds super cool! Will you ever be selling lanyards?

I 100% agree. I only like lanyards on tip-up carry folders. I just don't see the point if the knife is tip down, considering that the main reason I have them on there is ease of pocket extraction.

Nice. I've been looking at the Ti Millies, but I'm not sure I want to buy a titanium framelock that doesn't have a steel insert.

the ti Millie does have a steel lock bar insert by the way.

do you also find lanyard holes on fixed blades to be unnecessary since they aren't needed for retrieval from your pocket? or do you realize lanyards have a wide range of uses
to different people? I personally find them redundant as means of retrieval on knives which have clips. the only knife I liked a lanyard on was my Swiss army knife Hiker model, but I used the paracord to hold up some stage curtain working back stage at a beauty pageant and haven't since replaced it.

I love the look of lanyards. I always have them on fixed blade knives. I have one on m favorite edc folder, but sometimes it really seems to get into the way.
