...is killing me! I am finishing out the grinds on my first blade of Cru-Forge V. This is also the first blade I have HT'd using my new oven rather than in my forge. I have heard a few people mention that CFV tends to laugh at abrasives but I am astounded at how long it is taking to get this edge down to final thickness. I am using Blaze belts, switched from 40 to 80 grit when I was within .005 of my final thickness, and it just feels like I am using dead belts, even though both are fresh. Gnarly. My deepest sympathies to anyone working this steel by hand after HT
