Nice, that's a hefty rig. I second the notion of wearing that in a rig over your shoulder. That's basically a short sword right there.

I third the motion. I also think an over the shoulder back rig would be kickass. (Probably work a lot better than the bayonet mount.)

Skystorm, this thread is awesome!! Every time I saw that pics where in a post I had to put down my lunch or there would have been Tuna Casserole all over my keyboard. Thats some good stuff man! Congrats on the good score. I too wonder about these old blades and them being in such good shape.

BTW If you'd like some help with design ideas, let me know. I've been making machete sheaths for years and don't mind helping out a fellow becker lover and sheath maker.
