Used to saw to cut out a junk maple growing in the center of the quince bush. I normally bend cut junk like that with my Opinel but there was no way to get to it.
Screw driver got used to make minor repairs on the law tractor and then to screw in some storm windows on the barn.
But mostly it was a big day for the pliers, which seemed to out in my hand about once or twice an hour. Definitely a reminder of how useful a pliers based multi-tool is. Worked a tough knot loose in some rope, drove in tea cup hooks to set up Xmas lights, yanked a tough bunch of thorns out by the roots in tight quarters, tightened various bolts on the push mower and lawn tractor (both being put to bed for the season). No offense to the fans of SAKs and Farmers, but the Leatherman wins in my book. By end of the day, my wife was carrying the old Wave in her pocket - same reason.
