Recent shipment there were two villager fit and finish knives made by Kancha Kami's relative Berkhe Kami.
These knives were made in SoluKhumbu region by late Kancha Kami's relative.

I will offer this one for your collection at $145.

Overall length-- 15.5''
Weight-- 18 oz
Spine thickness --5/16''
Mountain, sunrise and bird engraved on one side of blade and other side Kamis trade mark mountain. When I saw the mountain mark engraved remind me Rajkumar Kami.
Lali gurash wood handle
Rare one for your collection at $145. *SOLD*

Beautiful piece! Too bad I've got to buy on a spaced out, one by one basis!

I'm starting to see more blonde handles lately. Are different woods used, or are the darker handles stained?

Yes- gorgeous engraving. And agree with blue lander.

I wonder if that's dhar wood? Just got that Gelbu Special in yesterday and that's dhar. Wood looks the same.

Agree. The cool stuff is flying in faster than my paychecks can keep up with.

I like how it has a fancy engraving juxtaposed with the simple villager finish.

I like how it looks like a bonecutter and is only 18 ounces and would make a great camp knife and stash just about anywhere and it sports cool looking engravings and... therefore:

EMS

I will post the second one for your collection this evening
Thank you for giving a nice home for Berkhe Kami's knife, Daniel

I'm sitting right here till evening....tick tock tick tock tick tock.......

Good on ya. This khukuri has a lot going for it. I was tempted for sure. I think that 18 ounces can be plenty for chopping if the blade shape is weighted toward the tip (like this one), along with the non-chiruwa handle to help increase the forward balance. That big pommel bell is nice, too.

I may just have to jump on the second one, if it comes around. I was on the fence about this one, I'm glad you picked it up D!

No jumping the gun, no false starts, no cheating...... I gotta hunch not alot of work is getting done today as we all check the forum every 2 minutes to make sure it's not evening.
I may stay at work so I'm not away from the computer for 15 minutes to get home.

My first impression was nice knife but the more I look and taking in the weight and size and look, now it's beyond awesomeness.

Ndog's right, it does have kind of a bonecutter look to it too. Ok, back on standby. 12:19 officially afternoon.

I did notice the Chitlangi like handle as well. It also looks like it has a very pronounced convex edge bevel made for chopping. Should be interesting.

Ndog, sent you an email a few days back, did you receive it?

Uhhh...lemme go check.
Nope.... Nothing but low paying job offers and Done Deals in my emails. Dont want a slave job yet but Done deals I do! PM me. Ill get it. I sent you a mail too.

EMS on #2

Bookie - if the answer to your question was a deciding factor on whether to shark #2, or not, and you do want it, by all means, you can have it. You were here first fair and square.
