The Legend of Kancha Kami

Grats to either of you gentlemen! That really is a unique blade im thinking. Kinda Fox Folly meets Bonecutter with a Chitlangi handle:thumbup: Cant wait to check this one out!

EMS on #2

Bookie - if the answer to your question was a deciding factor on whether to shark #2, or not, and you do want it, by all means, you can have it. You were here first fair and square.

I got the DD!

Bookie - The offer still stands, if you want it. Let me know, and I'll contact auntie to send the knife to you instead.

Congratulation to Cul4u01!
On Berkhe Knife #2

Thank you auntie! I got the twin to Danny's, that is something special indeed.
Great score brother cul:thumbup: Lemme know what you think when you get it. I already need to start processing some wood down. Its supposed to start getting cold here soon. Maybe down in the fifties or even fourties:eek: Brrrrrratious!

blue lander, email me your mailing address for long Tibetan Sword.
Thank you

Hey all. Heres the Berkhe Kami Villager from this DOTD. I must say if you like the lighter KLVUK's youre really gonna like this knife. It is crazy balanced and just enough heft to it to give Keshar Lal's legacy a run for the money. Not only that but its purdy purdy:D Cant wait to take it out for a chop. Just thought id put a few quick pics up till then. I may even etch this one to see if the engravings will show up a bit better. It has a grind similar to the KLVUK which would make it a great camp knife. Its the one on the right. Sorry for bad photos. Its been raining all day.

Also riding along in the same box was this other sweet little knife. Katunje im thinking. Man I really like this knife and its size. It has a smaller handle and would make a perfect EDC if I could legally carry it. If you like the Baby CAK's then this one is a bit longer with a bit more heft but definitely at home in the kitchen as well as a great around the house do it all knife.

This is Berkhe Kami's mark

This must be Arjune's mark. Looks like Vims flag mark. Maybe Bawanna or doc with a Katunje could verify this. It also has devanagari on the spine. Very khul!

Yea, I'll post pics of the 2nd Berkhe blade, after I finish it's mineral oil bath in a few days, quite a knife! ndogs review is right on the money.

Very lucky boys! There won't be anymore of those knives probably ever, unless one of HI's kami's try to duplicate it.

It's a spectacular blade with a wonderful history. Thing of proverbial beauty.

I do think you have a Katunje there Ndog. I think Arjune made me and Bookies but I can't swear for sure, just pretty sure.

Thank you Mr. B! I figured thats what it was. I sure do like it! I do remember Doc saying he had some spine inscription on his and yours. Maybe its Yandu's name. Ill go check it out now. Hmmm? can read it? Getting rusty i guess? Ill try later to figure it out.

cul: I didnt oil mine at all yet but will. It needs a bit of steel wool and cleaning first near the butt cap. Looks like it is going to be some nice wood. Dont think I have any Lali G. wood yet? Ill post better pics when I got some daylight. Grats again cul!

Yea, It does need a little work to really bring out the wood, but I really like the potential. I can't get to it for awhile, with the holidays coming up, and starting up a new business venture, my "free time" is in short supply for now. Thus, I figured I'd hydrate it some, and get to it when I can. It looked a little thirsty when I got it.
