Nice score! Les and the D7 crew put out some great pieces. I love the "woody" engraving (Les's term, not mine 🪵). I'm excited to see what those Mississippi boys have in store for the rest of the year.

Recently I asked a fellow collector to contact me if he ever wanted to part with his VECP. Today is the day! The blade is right up my alley. It slices good enough and still thick enough for some harder work. Great ergo's and the action is as advertised 🤩 The clip is not my cup of tea.

What would you suggest as a replacement clip? Deep carry is not a must. Appreciate the advise!

Oh seriously! In the last six months, he has talked me into no less than seven knives. I realized real quick that he was right about them and just stopped questing it. He points, I buy and don't regret it for one second. He's the ultimate knife matchmaker. 😂

No doubt about that. He practically punk’d me and made me buy a knife from him last week cause he knew I would love it. And guess what, he was absolutely right.

The VECP is a near perfect nexus of quality and price. The new Talos is really similar! I love how flickable the new Talos is. My older Talos has great action but is a little more of a thumb roll.

You may need some new washers in that v1 talos. Both mine fly open with awthawruty. Hit up Les and he’ll send you some.
