I recently picked up a PJ tanto from some new old stock USAMB had. Apparently Scott (the owner) had disassembled several of them a few years ago for anodizing and couldn’t get the pivots pressed back in. He sent them to Les to fix and they both forgot about them until last month. I’ve been calling it "the time capsule tanto." I’m thrilled to finally be the first owner of one!

I broke out my button lock yesterday after not having handled it in a while. I had forgotten how fun they were. That DLC Morph version of yours is fantastic!

I’m so freaking blessed to have scored two ultimate grails within the same month! I’m beyond grateful to be some hillbilly dude from southern Ohio that has unbelievable knife bros that I’ve never met but consider to be some of my best friends. It’s really amazing the connections that you can make on the internet and Facebook land. I appreciate y’all more than you will ever know!

My first purchase of 2025. I can’t believe this thing is on washers Oh and I am now a firm believer in Teflon tape on the pivot screw. It has allowed me to really dial in the action on my knives

I totally agree on teflon tape over loctite. It doesn't gunk up the pivot and you don't have to wait hours for it to set. It's also what Les recommends, and he would know!
