That is a great looking knife!Carrying a "Rockeye" today. It ain't flashy, but it's still one of my favorite LG designs, and one of my favorite Pro-Techs. Textured scales highly recommended on this one, given the stout action.

I am George-Les (sic) on day 2.
Quite the comedian you areBlues
It’s ok you forgot about the challenge. You get special age related considerations around here boss. Just grab your LG after that western movie is over.
And I'm the funny guy.
(Oh, I happen to like westerns...if they're Lonesome Dove, Open Range, Godless, and a few others...whether in book form or films. Though I'm on an Irish police procedural kick of late.)
I have to go now. That nice President Eisenhower is going to be on the television in a few minutes. Though I'm not crazy about that V.P. I hope he doesn't run for president in the next election.
got 2 designs only for today's Lestober....

im gonna run out of Les's pretty quick. might be able to make it to day 6 or so max....
yeah right....ya just got lots of duplicates and gonna pretend its the same one. im on to you......mitchyWhile there are a few but most of us don’t have one for each day of the month including myself. So post those bad boys everyday!
I’m curious, which one do you think fires the hardest of the two?
This display of all things Les reminded me of a funny thing that happened when my wife and I were in Paris about 25 years ago and had spent time with a cousin of mine, (ten years my elder), whom I'd never met previously. (He is a French citizen and a prominent attorney.)
We were out one evening and somehow it came up that I owned and collected knives. At some point during a very nice dinner in a fine restaurant of his choosing, he turned to me and said, "But Elliott, why do you need all those knives?"
My wife and I just laughed and laughed and he simply didn't understand why. It was priceless because it was asked so innocently.
Blues had quite a work issued collection. some serious guns i wish I could own. sure his cousin knew he was a federal officer and needed them.Good thing he didn't ask about your gun collection!![]()

I don't really have a gun collection. I only own a little over a handful, which essentially replicate the handguns and long guns I carried or used at work...but for those with auto capability.Good thing he didn't ask about your gun collection!![]()
I picked up a couple of Douk Douks, and Opinels. You should have had him join up here. He would have figured it out and had pockets full of blades in no time!
Curious, did you scoop up a sweet french blade while there?
very cool. I like a lot of Fred Perrins work. only own some spyderco versions though. great designs.I picked up a couple of Douk Douks, and Opinels.
Also, I was visiting and spending time in Paris and environs with Fred Perrin, and I came home with a few pieces that Fred made...one specifically made for me that was a surprise.
