The Les George Knives Thread

Nice knife. Just not into autos anymore. Sold the ones I had.

Completely agree, I don’t have any autos but I think I’ll end up grabbing one of these eventually. Ive been eyeballing the real deal but they fall in that price range that I just can’t bring myself to spend. Looks like a great size for edc though.

Gotta a great pattern on that one homie!

Les is the King of stone wash and over all for the quality you can’t beat the price compared to other brands !View attachment 3126627View attachment 3126628View attachment 3126629View attachment 3126630

Makes me really regret ever letting my fullered mk3 go. Such a great knife. Bet that thing’s as smooth as it gets.

Picked up a fun one this week. This is a late-2021 prototype Les made while he was experimenting with Wharncliffe-style blades. It eventually served as the inspiration for both the Myna and the reverse tanto version of his Ka-Bar collaboration. I’m especially fond of the micarta handles since, comparatively speaking, Les hasn’t done a whole lot of work with micarta over the years.

I should clarify that it is one of three Wharncliffe prototypes. The second was an incredible Damascus-bladed version he dropped on his website, and the third is a piece he still keeps in his truck to this day. If it’s good enough for Les to carry, it’s certainly good enough for me!
