These knives are incredible!!!

Nice. This is a design I have never had the opportunity to handle.

But they look great.

Very cool. Are you going to use it? Or, is it a collector piece? If it is a user, please do a thorough review and a picture documentary on it as you go. That would be a well-received review thread!

I am hoping to pick one of these up soon. Give us more impressions of this beauty. If I get one I plan to use it.

Do you know how he bends the frame lock?
T

I dont know exactly how Scott does it but I know how you could do it if you wanted to make a similar knife. The issue with making and integral frame lock such as that is getting the bend proper. You cant take the lock near where it meets the blade tang and expect to be able to bend it over without it just springing back. The easiest way I could see bending it would be cut the lock bar relief and then place a piece of steel or titanium in between what would be the handle slabs. You would want this block to be the exact thickness of the space between these slabs so you have instant leverage in which to make the bend. The edge of the block would be placed right at the very point you want the bend in the lockbar to take place. Then you would want to place the handle in a vice or a press and push the lockbar directly after where you placed the block and use it as a point of leverage and break point. Doing this should should give you the acute bend exactly where you need it. And using the block would almost act as a sheet metal break where you get a sharp bend at one single location rather than having a gradual bend across the whole lockbar cut out. Doing this should give a sharp enough bend with sufficient lock bar strength especially if you grind the lock interface to allow for as early lock up as possible without compromising safety.

It's a gorgeous knife. My only question is, and it may be a stupid one, but does one pronounce "Lochsa?"

Very cool. Like Mostmenareruthless, I would be interested in a review if it is a user. I hope you get a chance to use it and hope it proves to be worth the wait.

I would like to add me of those to my collection - but they seem as elusive as Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster.

I hope you decide to carry and use yours. It would be a shame to see that sit in a safe.

I havent decided if I'm going to carry and use it yet. I know this brings scorn and venom, but this thing is more like a functional piece of art!:D
