The Lochsa arrived!!!!

Ah, the elusive of the elusive lochsa what a magnificent piece. Congrats on the score that's about as good as it gets. I gave up trying to buy one years ago, just too hard to come by

Here is a quick pic of my "beater" Lochsa. It has seen a lot of pocket time. I just emailed Scott tonight to see if he will pretty it up again.
Anyone familiar with an older Sebenza will appreciate the Lochsa. This one is S90V :-)

Sigi, that Lochsa of yours looks great as is. She's got some character to her. It takes time to acquire character.

Paying that much for one in S90V or something very high performing makes more sense than using a steel found in $40 knives. Yes, S30V is good and I like it. If I'm going all out though I want a bonafide supersteel. Even the old BG42 would be better IMO. I stopped desiring CRK after they went to S30V.

Just an opinion about steels and not an insult to the wonderfully made CRK knives or Lochsa line. I value the steel as much as I do the craftsmanship.

Congrats! I would carry and use it, no kidding. Life is too short to keep 'em hidden away in a safe.

Beautiful piece. The finish on the blade looks spectacular.

And as others have said, use it! I carry my Voorhies almost everyday and it has brought me so much joy. No safe queens. Ever.

Hello.
How did you manage to order the Lochsa directly from S.Cook? He never replies to the e-mails....
It's my Holy Grail knife and I want it so badly!!!

Awesome pickup!!

Do we even want to know how long ago you placed the order for that?

Realizing I'll probably never get the chance to own one, I got the next best thing. The Michael Raymond Estrella.
