The Lone Ranger: 112 Dedication Thread

An old friend of mine was a junior boy scout back in the seventies. He always carried a Buck 110. This year I saw him again and he still had his two dot 110 in his pocket. We talked a little about his knife and after a while he said that he also has an old 112 which he never used laying in his drawer for the last 40 years. I never knew he had this knife. He sold it to me for a few Euros. This old piece is so beautiful, every detail so aesthetically pleasing. I wish Buck would still build these sharp edged bolsters and blades without nailnick.

That might be the most elegant Ranger I've ever seen.

I'm really, really impressed by some of the 112's in this thread. Some real surprises! Ever since the forum was 'improved' I have had trouble posting 90% of the pictures I have of my 112's because the pics are too big. I have always posted straight from my phone's gallery and that doesn't work for most of the pics I have in my phone. My first New Year's resolution is to FINALLY use a hosting service and really take a inventory and good pictures of all my 112's. I had the carpal tunnel surgery on Wednesday on my good hand and after I recover from that I figure out how to shrink some of the pics I have now and try to get good pics to share here.

If you start using a hosting site, you won't need to resize your pictures. Since the pictures won't be on the forum server, the forum software won't care what size they are. You might also find that your hosting site does some resizing automatically.

O.B.

I still don't how to post pics directly from my phone, so it hasn't been a problem for me ;)
I download them into my laptop, then resize them using Paint.

I've used Imgur as a hosting site with good success btw.
