I think so as well. Speaking of the Oyabun limited, I liked it so much I bought two. One for the collection and one to carry. It seems some don't like the looks, but I do.

I love those, I got one to collect and fidget with. Was very happy to get a signed box

I believe it will go lower still, and will hold out for that day. My guess is that In-between will eventually have then on sale for a buck and a quarter, maybe a little more. The limited edition thing doesn't really add tons of value when they are making multiple thousands of them, and you can buy essentially the same thing in a different color for seventy-five bucks.

I do agree - 3000 made. How in any way is that limited/unique/special. And, at almost 3 times the price as the regular issue.

As for comparing the two. Essentially the same knife. But if being specific:

G10 vs Grivory

At $125, maybe I would be interested in actually making a purchase.

Yep, and none of these differences are significant in a self defense blade. That said, I think the S35 Spartan is probably a fair value at up to $150. But I think they will eventually go lower than that.

GSM really doesn't get CS customers. Yeah, we love Saint Lynn, but it's not a freaking cult where we have to buy it just cuz his (blessed) name is on it. We love Lynn for who he was and what he did for us -- that being the polar opposite of what GSM now offers.

I paid a little more , but not too much ! Had to wait a bit though .

Been carrying the first one since I received it . Great knife , IMO .
