I got my Fallkniven A1 today (thanks Knife fury). It's thicker that I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing.I know that this knife can take one heck of a beating (thanks Noss4).
This is my third Fallkniven knife.I'll have more time for a full workout this weekend so for now I'll just post the pics I took.

Trentu.It's a quarter of an inch thick.Sweet!!
I'm going to go for a solo trek this weekend to try out my new Clark hammock. It'll get a great workout then as my primary camp knife.

What I like is that the edge comes right down to the handle!!

Sweet knife:thumbup: Solo trek this weekend, ya, you'll be cutting some firewood with that one:)

Spring is in the air, and everybody's getting new blades! Fallknivens are tops, that one will see a lot of use I bet.

Hey-- tell your mail man he needs a transfer to Seattle so he can bring me one too :) That's a KNIFE, Mate!

That is a great looking knife. I miss snow. The photos opened up and I could smell snow and pine. Mac

You want my snow?? You can have all you want.LOL.I'm getting sick of the stuff. We still have a foot or so here in places.Though,I suspect Liam Ryan could spare more than I can.
I bought a Clark North American hammock for my new outdoor home away form home. They both arrived at the same time.I love not sleeping on sticks and rocks when I hike.
I bought a spec-ops survival sheath just for this knife and it fits like it was made for it.Nice tight fit.No flapping and clacking when I want to be quiet.

savagesicslayer, Thanks, you just cost me money. Should be here next Monday. Dang this post!!!

trentu........:p:D
You'll love it bud.Congrats.Post some pics when you get it.
That goes for all of you.Post some Fallkniven pics here. These knives are too beautiful not to show off.

I'll be heading to Canyonlands NP in a few days. I'm planning on taking my new A1, and my NWA forum knife (if it gets here in time) for a little testing. I'll post some pics here when I get back.

Nice knife savagesicslayer! I know what you mean about this winter, it is proving to be a prolonged one with lots of snow storms this month. Just out of curiousity, did you order your A1 in country or from the south?

The wildnerss hammock's seem like a great idea for camping in heavily treed areas.

I love my A1. I miss it alot. Mine is an older one that has a solid VG-10 blade. A little hard to get really sharp but when you do it holds an edge like grim death. If I were dropped anywhere with only one knife my A1 combined with a Survival Systems sheath would be it.
I sent it to a major knife maker to have the rubber handle replaced with a natural canvas Micarta one. It was supposed to part of a project to provide do it yourself re-handle kits for rubber handle knives like Fallkniven. He was supposed to be doing the rehandle for free because of the project but This August my knife will have been gone for one year.

:jerkit:

kgd.I bought it form a member on here. Most of my best knives came from here.
riddleofsteel.I'm really sorry for your loss bud.We should get a "Bladeforums.com pillaging and burning expedition" going.Pay that guy a visit.
