The Main Rotation

BTW Brett, the 42 isn't too bad when in a pocket slip; that's how I carry it when a belt sheath is just too much of a blatant display. Front pocket of even "well fitting" jeans is not a problem.

my main knife rotation consists of my GEC Model 73 with ebony covers.

That is my only knife in my rotation. It keeps everything nice and simple.

Here is a photo of all the knives in my rotation.

Right now I'm hard pressed to put any other knife in my pocket except my Northwoods Fremont. If not the Fremont, I'll carry my Case SBJ or my GEC 68 White Owl.

Usually my GEC 85 in cocobola or my jigged bone Northfield 92. When i prefer something a bit smaller, SBJ in stag and damascus or Queen Burke doctor's knife in abalone. Those four are the mainstays in my pocket. 56 and 66 jacks get some time also. And once in a while my '06 Bladeforums Canal Street ring knife gets in a pocket, that is an underrated knife if ever there was one.

trying to go with something different today:

My main rotation is now just a few knives that I have left after numerous downsizing. They are also most treasured because of the far that they were from fellow forumite that I consider friends/family.

Just wanted to thank Carl for saying this. I know for a fact that I have a recently acquired uncle in MD

Back to the OP; I basically carry the same knife every day, but I will take a picture of the knives I use most (my work knives and so on) and post it here :)

Even before I considered myself a knife collector (accumulator?) I have had a rotation of pocketknives. These nine are my most often carried/used - the big three on the left include a Buck 307 and an Old Timer 8OT - one or the other goes hunting with me. The Old Cutler Texas Jack is my yard work knife. The other six are my regular EDC pocketknives for work and weekend carry - there are three medium Stockman knives (Schrade 34OT/834UH and a Buck Cadet); my favorite pattern for work (I use a Sheepfoot blade to cut samples of drywall on a regular basis). The three jacks (Barlow and two jacks by Case) are carried after work and on weekends. There are others that get carried, not to mention fixed blade skinners and folding hunters for woods and field, but these are my workhorses. OH
