Shave and an arm workout?

What Brand and Knife is this??

Im gonna polish the side of the INFI camp cleaver, stick it in a tree and use it as a mirror as I shave with the Custom Shop War Train.. an trim my nose hair with the War Train Handcar LE :)

Ill stick with my Above the Tie Safety razor, Lord blades, Reef Point soap, and Simpson Chubby 2 Best brush.

Thats about as manly as i plan to go.

I've only done it once, but when I started working for my current employer, I shaved my face with a very sharp- convexed- game warden.

The more polished the edge is --- the less likely your face will get irritated --- however you run the risk of taking your face off

I'm inspired. I'm tempted to try it with my SWATmandu. I may do that over the weekend.

The original post had me worried when I saw the video carrier was liveleak.

I would need so many stitches after trying to do that as fast as he did. I would look like Frankenstien.

I use a straight razor every day , not at all a big deal after some practice.

Any tips for a newby? I should be receiving my custom razor in a couple months and I'm a bit nervous about using it.

Who is the maker?
In general you need well made razor such as vintage Sheffield , Solingen or Japanese. They were made well. YOur razor also should be honed by someone that knows how to do it correctly so you are not struggling with bad edge and only have to overcome your skill learning curve.
There is a straight razor dedicated forum, Straight Razor Place, check it out it is full of information on anything straight razor related.
Let me know if you have more questions.
