Alright guys, got a couple things to post. First off, the Rat 1 orange that was posted earlier by whetstone is now up for grabs. Only go for the Rat 1 if you plan to give it a good home or at least try it and pass it on for another to try it. I can say my Rat 2 is a very fine knife especially for the pricing they are new. First person who will really give it a good showing send an e-mail to me through bladeforums. Secondly, I know there are still some people that would like an opinel. Let me know no 6 or 7 in carbon or SS and I will order one for the person that tells me what use they plan to put it too and gives the best most genuine answer. As for the other gear. I have a red alox cadet that I received in a trade on the forums a while back that could use a good home. Along with a Wenger serrated backpacker and a Swiss Tech Util Key 6 in 1. Please be considerate. I would like these to be dispersed among people who plan and follow through with giving back or have already given back. Once received please post pictures if you could. Oh, about that: reason I put it in the spare bin was that it wouldn't stay on my Mossberg under recoil. The locking bar works loose after a few shots. It seems tight, but it is suspect under 12ga recoil. Now, you may have luck with it, but the first time it flew off my gun (along with the fiberoptic front sight; now that was a b***h to find in the weeds!), I decided to switch to something more trustworthy. I think it would be fine on something like an AR, or AK, or pistol. But I just don't know if you can trust it on a shotty. You've been warned:eek:
 
Hi C_K. I want to thank you for the concern over the meds. My tolerance has increaseed and I have been on the same dosage since February. I know that eventually my dose may increase and thats something i will have to deal with then. My hope would be to stay where I am, but my doctors tell me that the pain will be there until the day I die so I am climbing the ladder as slow as I can and accepting the fact that I will be in some pain regardless. I have seen what uncontrolled use of rx opiates can do to a person and there families. It is truly sad to see.

Cutter I wish you the best of luck, I know first hand what a bit** pain meds can be and if they no longer get you high I'm afraid you may already be headed down a long hard road. Not only do I wish you a speedy recovery from your physical ailements but I wish you the absolute sincerity wishes that you are able to deal responsibly with the Rx pain meds and they don't sneak up and grab on.

As for this thread and the last, I had a blast partaking in the giving AND receiving, I thank all of you who also gave and I'd also like to thank the people who took anything I customized, it really makes me feel good that I was able to give what I did and that things I built with my hands were able to help my brother knife nuts out. I'd also like to specifically thank NYOutdoors, MykelM, whetstone39 and fetzer85 on a much more personal level, be it something to do with my father, or some other more in-depth reason you guys are really great people, great friends who I would have never gotten to know if it wasn't for this thread so thank you to Jim for starting it all as well as cutter again for being Jims inspiration.


Having said that I've given all I had and I've taken all I'm comfy taking/asking for so I'm not going to be keeping up with this thread like I did the last. I hope the giving spirit is able to continue and no one gets caught up in greed, I'm afraid some people just joinin in arnt exactly in it for the right reasons (those reasons beig helping others out just because while simply scoring some good karma points for themselves).

Lobo has claimed the Rat 1. Rat 2 to clarify is not up for paying forward. That was my commentary stating it is a good knife.

We were given to understand, either of them might be up for grabs... Not both. ;) Thanks for sharing, LionSeer. :thumbup:
 
So far only the Rat 1 is claimed from the items I posted recently. Please e-mail to claim on the other items.
