I may be a glutton for punishment but here we go again! I got the go ahead from the boss and it looks like I can oblige all those folks who have been asking for another event at my shop, so keep your schedule open on the 3rd weekend in July (what the heck it's not getting any hotter in July) for-

I am on sabbatical this year, and will be driving cross country just about this time, but my wife and daughter might not see the value of this event.

Perhaps I will be able to see you at Ashokan?

Wow ! I was hoping this would happen again and I just cleared my slate for july. Next its off to the scotch club to peruse the available bottles. Then its off to the neighbour cattle farmer for the T-Bones , Oh darn the border guards won't let us bring meat across. Oh well a stop at your local butcher will suffice. Oh did I say count me in?

The last time around only one person mentioned going into the screening room and watching:(, Apparently bladesmiths would rather watch some fool play with fire and steel than the greatest adventure show ever made:confused: I know, I can't figure it out either, but Rick Barrett and some of the other Venture henchmen said they may be coming so we may do some team Venture after all:D.

You would have looked better as Dr. Girlfriend! If you are a card carrying member of the actual Venture team then you better watch yourself, I got my card from the Guild 2 years ago but am still waiting for my arching assignment. I wanted the go ahead to arch Rick Barrett, but although the Ventures are my bro the Monarch's territory, you are not! But if you want to give up the goody-two-shoes thing, I may have some openings for henchmen.

On the more serious side- Matherton is a bit out in the sticks and my yard can only hold so many tents, but all are welcome. Last time I put up a list of the nearest lodging but nobody seemed to use them, would that be something I should list again to help folks out who are coming any distance?
 
All I need are two trees, or a fence and a tree, or a telephone pole and a fence or... I guess what I'm saying is, I'm most comfortable in my Hennessy Hammock but can also groundcamp anywhere a sleeping bag/bivy will fit... or I sleep in the car very comfortably too.

Kevin, does your place have a long drive that runs along the right(facing the housefrom the road) out to a building at the back left corner of the lot? I tried to Google Map it from the address on your site... lol.

Last email convo I had with Kevin, it was on like Donkey Kong. Either way, he's getting a weekend tenant!
 
I've already googled the weather forcast and so far its favourable , the Bottle of single malt is packed and have a couple of sample show and tells packed. See you there.
 
I had planned on sleeping in my car. I have a few toys ready, and am searching for a good bottle of scotch.
 
Well, coming from Canuckistan, I can't bring over any food and I'm limited in the alocohol I can have. So I need to hit a few stores between Detroit and Kevin's place. I really don't have any "toys" to bring... just customer stuff that I can't afford to get snagged at the border. Maybe I just show up naked, starved, with a small buzz on. I can play the role of Sammy!
