I've received 26 emails asking for pix of the Millennium Special so I am getting this done before I do anything else.

Above are the pix which pretty much tell the story.

Specs:

length -- 21 inches
blade width -- 1.75
blade thickness -- just about 1/2 inch
weight -- a bit over two pounds

karda is 7.5 inches and excellently done
chakma a bit less and excellently done

fit and finish -- excellent
hardening -- excellent
engraving -- excellent
scabbard -- excellent
frog -- a puny superfrog destined to be replaced

So, there it is. I ordered a couple of extras in case anybody is interested. Hope to have them all delivered before the Millennium gets here.

I had a more leaf shaped blade pictured.Definitely a user since it is a tad longer than the Gelbu Special.It ought to be one heckuva chopper.I am glad mine is coming.The wait is so sweet.

I definitely will be feverish with HIKV until #7 shows up. I am still amazed that my idea for the Millennium Special has come to fruition.

Uncle Bill, some of us requested that our names or initials be engraved on the blade also. Did that happen?

Has anyone noticed the first letter for H.I. on this Khukuri looking like an angry bald man wearing glasses??

I just noticed it and got a good laugh.

I may have to get off of here soon.
We had some tornados walking around Oklahoma last night and there's Severe Thunderstorms tonight.
Strange weather for this time of year.
Back in 1969 we had a freak Spring Thunderstorm in March and the conditions were just right and we got 18"of snow in a short time with the lightening and thunder.It was eeriely beautiful with the lightening over the HUGE snowflakes.

(The first thing I, on the other hand, noticed when I saw it, was that the old coot hadn't put in his dentures.)
