Personally, I carry a lot of knives, and use them for different tasks. Plus several of them are discontinued, and you specified current production. Be that as it may:
Best slicer: arguable, but I place the Military in this slot. Full flat grind, more cutting edge than the Manix, strong yet light weight.
Best "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead": Manix. Big, sturdy, built to take hard use, and likely to cause NKP to drizzle down their legs when deployed. This is the knife to have when you just gotta git-r-done, regardless of the tender sensibilities of those around you. If you can't do it with a Manix, a knife is the wrong tool for the job.
Best utility cutter: BRG ZDP-189 Delica. Big enough for most jobs, yet small enough to prevent panic when deployed. Wickedly sharp, and stays that way for a long time. There is a reason the Delica has been in the lineup for over 15 years, and this is the best one yet.
Best gentleman's dress knife: Gold pearl Kopa. I don't even have one, and I don't like pearl handles in general, but that is one classy knife, absolutely gorgeous, and a great little cutter, too.
Best gentleman's folder: UKPK. Light weight, full flat grind, S30V and G-10, legal almost everywhere, this is the best slipjoint I have ever seen.
Best clampak opener: since the Dodo is out of production, I'll have to go with the Cricket. The reverse S blade is the best thing I have found for opening those pesky plastic packages that everything seems to come in these days.
I'm sure there are other bests, and others will disagree with some or all of my nominations, but that is my opinion for what it is worth.
