The MOAB..

Where can I find info on this knife? How long is the blade?

Here is Jerry's original post.

I believe there are one or two on order through the Custom Shop, but I am the only Hog with one in his hooves. :D

You can also try searching using this query in Google -- moab -"mega moab" -"moab desert" -"moab, UT" site:bladeforums.com
You will need to weed through a lot of junk, but without getting a Bladeforums membership this is about the best you can do for searching.

MOAB -- 19 1/8" OAL - tip to front talon hole is 13 1/4"

Hey Drew, isn't that the knife you dropped in the parking lot ?

The dude only has 9 posts. I just stalked them all! :D :p

More MOAB pics, please.

unfortunately my computers ram crashed and corrupted my raid set up, so my 10,000 or whatever it was photo collection of busse's is still waiting to be recovered. or psuedo recovered.... I tried once and nothing came out right, a lot of thumbnailes with no actual image information.

i remember spending hours on end searching through individual members profiles for one minute reference or another. and when you've got someone like jerry that goes back farther then the search allows, going through the text based archive pages.

That has to be dubbed the moao..mother of all ouches.

There is something about a one-off knife as legendary as the MOAB being a user, though. Yeh...it's called NUTS!

they are big, which is why they are called MOAB, Mother Of All Bowies.

as to stalking you.......well, I can read, and I happened to read your other post first. Then I happened to have a long enough memory to remember that you had expressed a strong feeling that Busse knives were overpriced (something about Busse's being "ridiculously over priced" and only being worth it if they were "dipped in platinum"). Then I tried to answer your question by providing two websites that might have specs on the MOAB.

If that makes me a stalker, then so be it. Some one who has a MOAB will be along to tell you what the blade length is, but they might not post it for fear that you might call them a stalker.

Apparently you can't take a joke very well.

sure I can take a joke. It is hard to know when one is joking when you read something. (Although I might categorize my response post as more smart a-- with a hint of joking). Most posts on this sub forum are jokes.

In fact, I am what most people would call a Jolly, Jovial person. I am a lot like Saint Nick, except I don't have any reindeer, or give out presents to tons of people I don't know on Christmas, and I usually have a sharp knife on hand.

But the fat laughing guy with a smile and a beard, that is me.

the Ha Ha at the end helps signify it as a joke, very helpful. Or laughing or smiling emoticons work too. It is not so much the carbs, as it is the overall high intake of calories, and not hitting the gym as often as I used to.

But on the upside, "FAT GUY IN A LITTLE COAT" is much funnier now, than it will be if I ever get back to the gym.
