you are hunting and have just wounded a bear. your forced to search for it in very thick brush and high grass. without warning it comes out of nowhere and attacks knocking your gun out of your hands. in a last ditch effort to survive you pull your knife. what knife do you have or wish you had on your belt?

Swamp Rat Rodent Waki or Busse AK47

But I would probably just pull my sidearm and shoot it again :D

;):D

SMATCHET!

Somebody had to say it.

I recall a story from one of the outdoor magazine a couple years ago. I guy was attacked by a wounded Grizzly and killed it with a Buck 110. Myself? maybe my Vic Classic. It wouldn't be as hard to pull it out of my six.

Buck 110 (stock version). So that when they find my gnarled corpse they have to pry a bloody buck 110 out of my cold dead fingers.

Well udtjim beat me to the 110. That guy you mentioned goes into my BA hall of fame. Props to your choice of Vic Classic. I have always wanted to start a thread about how far you can push a Vic Classic -I would think that a bear attack takes the cake.

I have been in that exact predicament 3 times. You will have to do a search in Prac Tac to find out what knives I used and what martial art wild animal discipline I trained on for that specific scenario. Just so you know, it involves testosteronal induced imaginations.
