Douk Douk. Amazing knife.

I own a Mercator also which is a similar, but it has no belly to it. The slight belly on the Douk Douk is great for food prep.

How about Sodbusters? Most can be had for about $20.

In the $20-ish ( or less) price range Opinels, Douk-Douk, Victorinox 84mms like the Recruit or "my First Victorinox plus" (suitably modified).
$20-$40 range Alox Cadet, Soldier, Farmer, plus regular Vic Huntsman.
The Eka Swede 82 and 92 look cool kinda like folding Moras but they are $54 and $37 respectively.
$40-$60 i'd go with the Spyderco Tenacious or Buck 112 or Yellow Case Copperlock.

The Normarks were actually Ekas.
The design still exists, look at the The Eka Swede 82 and 92.
