The more and more knives I try...

Thanks Sal. Are there any plans to make small changes to the Delica in the near future? I'm not sure what kind of changes would be made but I am just curious to know what you think at this point.

Not enough adjustment requested at this time to warrant a new mold.

Thanx much Neil we try.

It's amazing how balanced this knife is.

It disappears in your pocket bc it's so thin and light. But then when you pull it out and deploy it, it's a full knife that fits the hand PERFECTLY. And that vg-10 blade, OMG it cuts anything like butter. Not too big, not too small, not too expensive, not too light. Such a pleasure to own.

I've had many knives, and out of all of them, the Delica is my favorite folder.

I have had lots of folders over the years(not as many as some other forum members!!!).

Owning a para 2(soon 2) and a delica, the delica is just so pocketable.

As a whole my para 2 is my favorite knife but it strikes fear into the hearts of the non knife users. The delica while not much smaller is comfortable pocketable forget you have it on you and study.

I wish I would have tried one years ago.

Design wise its perfect, what's to adjust!

I have knives with better steel, better handles, three times the price. bit when. it comes down to the essence of what a knife should be, a true user. Its very hard to beat a Delica. For me the Delica and the trapper knife pattern are quintessential knives and must haves.

I have a drawer full of knives and find myself digging through them just to find my Delica half the time, lol. the other half is looking for my trapper.

I don't know spyderco does it, it's like a disease that slowly takes over and there is no cure for its unquenchable demand for pocket time.

Spyderco knives have pretty much kicked out all other variants. It's just a steady rotation of paras and manix.

Still don't have a delica, about to remedy that with a ZDP model though.

Just a random thought...is a choil possible on this knife? I think that would make it even more perfect! And a premium steel like S110V would be even perfecter! :p :D

It really is a great little knife. The only model I've had was a waved version... I've been thinking lately I may need to try out an FFG model.

One of my great shames is that I once proposed a choil be added to the Delica on the Spyderco site.

If I were to keep just two of the Spyderco Knives { and nothing else } it would be my Delica collection and my Para collection
as they both compliment each other and what one might have trouble doing the other fills in and gets the job done.*
I may have a "few" other Knives but Spydie is and always will be number 1 in my Collection.!* Enough said.^^^^

Oh, I dunno.

Being one who loves choils, I think it's the only essential feature missing from the Delica.

I believe I saw Sal mention once that the choil isn't as widely demanded from the general public, and since the Delica and Endura have been their flagships for so long, they have remained as is. Which makes perfect sense from the company's viewpoint.

I personally find the transition from handle to cutting edge a bit awkward, and I think a choil would perfectly utilize that wasted space. But then again, between so many choiled options offered (e.g., Stretch, Para 2, GB, etc.), it would be overkill from a product line standpoint to only offer knives with choils.
