The Most Epic Release in 2011?

Of course the MUK was the most epic release of the year as many Hogs had been begging for it for a long time.....and it finally came. :)

1) Boss Jack
2) Muk

The Satin Jack was before my time here and looked like the most beautiful fixed blade ever to me. Very thankful that the Boss Jack was made available in 2011. Even if there is no cutting to be done, I handle that blade every day :thumbup:

I feel the most epic Busse knives of 2011 were the Basic 10 LE's I dunno there is just something about Res-c and INFI it just screams old school.

Knives aren't pretty, lassie! They're gnarly evil sharp things designed to wield destruction wherever they go! LOL

(Can you really wield destruction??? It sounded good, tho, didn't it?)

Let's see... if I were really to go by the definition of epic, I'd have to say the Light Brigade Argonne Assault. What's more epic than a knife commemorating the Lost Battalion, who never gave up even though they were surrounded?

For a less semantic and more personal choice, I'd have to choose the BOSS Jack. It was the one hanging around when I first discovered Busse, and it's one sexy knife.

Most epic should be the Hog Muk only because of the 100349759723459785 page death chant thread. :)

This is a tough one for me. I pined for a Khukri for quite a while. Got the KZII, but then they also released the Gladius!

But I probably think for me the CABS, and Muck top my list, just because those are such great designs for plain utility!

They are paired with my B11, in a single carry rig. Heavy leather baldric, and I am good to go in the outdoors, or apocalypse!

Although I love all of the 2011 releases I've had the pleasure of touching or owning are winners, but I think the B-10 LEs take the cake. The Boss Jack is a pretty awesome knife too.

Gotta go with the Muk LE. It is so unique compared to all others Busse put out this year. Not to take away from the other great blades, but nothing was truly as inspired as the Muk - including how it was driven relentlessly by the faithful to production. That in itself was epic!

I can't think of any production blades from Busse Combat that really grabbed me this year -- the last release that really sang to me was the Gladius. I bought older releases that appeared at Knob Creek and Custom Shop blades this year. I liked the SOS knives, and should have picked up several at the last Knob Creek; however, I got "clever" because I knew that there'd be a 'ganza, and I thought I'd order an SOS FSH + a couple Boss Streets and ADs from the 'ganza since shipping would be less than sales tax. I was surprised when those models weren't among the 'ganza knives -- I should have grabbed them at KC when they were available, but I bought some nice Customs instead.

I have a pair of Desert Sand/Tan Micarta Boss Jacks (from the Desert Warfare Sets), but I bought them in 2010, so I don't think of them as a 2011 release, although I suppose that's when they were available online.

B-10 has my vote but I would have to say a close second would have to be some of the beer helmets at induction dinner this year.
A few of them can definitely be described as EPIC.

I hope someone can back me on this with a few pics.
