The mother load....!

Thanks for the info, Guy...I wasn't aware that the kris was a standard fixture on Scagel-style knives (shows you how much I know ;) ). You may be right about my knife being a stock-removal piece; the source I purchased it from advertised it as "hand-forged 52100 steel", but I've always been curious about the deviation from the standard Tomes maker's mark. I'm not sure that I would know how to distinguish a forged knife from a stock-removal blade, so I'll just continue to enjoy the knife as is...sometimes ignorance is bliss :).

Concerning pictures, I'm afraid that I'm technologically impaired; I don't own or have access to a digital camera. I'll be sure to post some pics if I can manage to borrow a camera...

Jim, it very well could be hand forged, before his time as a master smith. You can only display the MS logo if you are qualified.

Hey, come round and borrow my camera if you want...the flight could cost a bit though...I'll put the coffee on!;)

I bet you have a beautiful knife.....can't wait to see it!

Personally I woul never buy a stag handled bowie, but they sure are nice to look at in pictures.

Great knives you guys....thanks!
