THE MOUNTAIN SKINNER (REVENANT)
Description from the makers site
I made three knives for the movie entitled The Revenant staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. One of which was the large mountain skinner Above and two were the vintage spear point knives that are an order option. Hand forged form 1095 high carbon steel. Blade size is about 5 1/2″ long. Handle size is about 4 3/8″. Spine/tang is 1/8″ thick. Dark Vintage high aged blade. Handle material aged black walnut with 3 steel pins. (Now also available with Tiger Maple) Blade is at least 1 3/4″ wide at widest point. Knife comes with a high aged and distressed leather belt sheath. Special “R” stamp on opposing side of my makers stamp.
