Just came across this knife when I peeked at the GEC production schedule and saw these are coming in Feburary to Smith and Sons.

Been looking to add a large Sodbuster pattern to my collection and this one ticks all the boxes..... 1095, variety of micarta handle materials, and should be affordable to boot. Knowing it's made by GEC means it's going to be a high quality piece.... real workhorses for sure!

And my favorite..... black linen micarta:

So.... who else is excited about these? :D

Looks like a bullnose that locks.

The pattern is GEC's #21, normally called the Bull Buster, which is larger than the Bull Nose (#71). But yes, it's basically a lock-back Bull Buster.

They go quick, check often and not many pop up on the exchange.
The only one I have, was snagged here and I live about 15 minutes from their shop.

Not huge fan of the pattern, but the scales colour of the first one is just gorgeous... looks like a fading caramel... definately must get a knife like this...

looks like a real nice work knife. I find my case sodbuster is big enough for just about everything I do, so I wont be buying one. I'd like to see the hayn helper made in a lockback with that nice orange brown micarta though.

I got two of em and I'll tell ya I LOVE em! Great work and EDC knives, but as mentioned they go quick, real quick! I think k the next available date is in Feb though, so if you want one u need to get on the email list

I really like the looks of the Natural Linen Micarta in the OP's thread. May have to find one.

Has anyone received the latest Mudbug from the February run yet? Post up some pics if you have.
