thanks guys. beautifully figured wood. i can't really get it to come through in pics (i know everyone says this). i love the size of this offering John. it's light and a real handy size. and, as i said, i like the grind....i can get this guy as sharp as i want to.

out of curiosity, do you have a Nessmuk pattern that is in between this Pocketmuk and the full-size Nessmuk? actually, before i ask that, i guess i should ask what the specs on the Nessmuk is. if it is earlier in this thread, please forgive me....

I'll check measurements on the Nessmuk when I go out to the shop tomorrow. The actual Nessmuk has a different shape than this one, but I've been thinking of a larger one the same shape as this one.

that looks great, Todd! those pocket muks are great knives, love the sound of that mid range one to, along with the mini pocket muk as well that woudl make a hell of a line up! :eek:

thanks Pete. really digging the Nessmuk pattern right now (in case you couldn't tell). Muzzleloader season starts tomorrow. hope to put it to good use. :)

Found one!

I call this one the Belt Muk.

Specs:
8 1/8" overall
4" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel



 
all this talk of nessmuks had me pull mine out the knife box, time to find some things for it to cut

That hollow copper pins? What wood is that burl?

Thats a fine combination of materials right there.
