I don't think machining limits are the reason, it will be shorted than the original AK.

Is the AK suppose to be coming out soon or, and I am in no way trying to be sarcastic, will it be a two or three year wait like the FBM?

I hear the military has signing bonuses these days! ;) (not sure about Canadia)
I can't wait. I still haven't decided if I'm getting on yet, I'd like to see it first, but I am tempted.
