The New And Hopefully Improved "W" Feather Hunter

Love it! That will look great once the ironwood darkens up a tiny bit. Ive always been a fan of the aged color ironwood takes on. I don't know why, but that patten damascus always looks better on a very very light or very very dark handle, IMHO.

Approximately how many hours does the forging work take to create that pattern. If you don't want to make times public, PM me. I'm mainly curious.

Keven,

I do not have any more of this pattern and I am not taking any orders for just the steel by itself, this is do to uncertainty in how the pattern will look once you start to grind on it. I could make a knife out of it myself because if the pattern doesn't come out after grinding I can start over.

David,

The pattern takes about 12 hours from start to ready for forging the blade to shape. :)

Thanks for all the comments, keep them coming,

Kyle

I'll be in touch...

Love the improvement! Even more impressed by your attitude and work ethic (though jaw still mangled from dropping through desk onto floor at killer blade with new and improved killer handle).
