It IS a sweet blade, but as I told you before: The Magnum was and IS my ideal blade. I've got 2 so I'm very fortunate.........don't think I wouldn't try for 3 if the opportunity presented itself though!

The SHBM is a great knife, but it can never be to me as the Magnum is. My user does everything from slaying boxes containing INFI, to coconuts, to chopping wood of course and some machete work. It'll be going to Busse in a couple weeks for a nice regrind. The edge is uneven in the sweet spot and I'd actually like it thinned out anyway. I'm great at sharpening, HORRIBLE at reprofiling.

BTW: I had to say this= To anyone needing a Machete, check out the Kanetsune machete, it's like a cross between a Khukuri/machete/bolo all in one. Hold a great edge, is quick in the hand, and is very easy to maintain. The edge is incredibly thin (the thinnest zero edge I've yet to see) and tough. Great Japanese blade :thumbup: .

I NEED an INFI machete. The Ruck won't cut it. Longer, thinner, wider. Yes. Bolo too.Ya hear that Jerry?

Sweet ST-56 Grinducci! It's on my "future INFI purchases" list since I traded my last one. I replaced my old Mud Razor though! That was a step in the right direction!

I think a blast cabinet will be on my "to do" list as well. Harbour Freight has some good deals. I just need to figure out the space. My garage is PACKED once the cars and motocycles are parked. The basement is a whole 'nother horror story (NEVER offer to store things for a family member in need, they'll NEVER come back for it and you can't throw it away because they're FaMiLy ).
