The new new tweener coating

Those look great! I really like the idea of the forward jimping, probably very useful on such a small blade.

Nice job on your kydex too.
 
It will still be there after the coating comes off. Over time with use and abuse and if you have to sand rust off and stuff it will start to wear as it is only so deep in the metal. If you want it to stick around longer though you could apply an etchant over the engraving before you strip, let it do it's work, THEN strip the blade and the etched logos will be much deeper. I saw someone do this with an ESEE and the ESEE skull logo looked frickin awesome after the blade was stripped.

I've tried that process with the Tweeners, and there seems to be some kind of gold coating at the base of the laser etching that resists the PCB acid. It just sits there and looks like water puddling. When I rinse/wipe it off after a while it looks the same as when I started. Anybody have any luck with this process on the Tweeners?
