Well.......I finally got sick.

Heading to the doctors office in a few hours to get some antibiotics.

I'd rather see legalized antibiotics sold over the counter than weed. Being illegal is half the fun........

I had a package sit in a FedEx Smartpost in Hebron, KY for three days. Then someone at the Smartpost thought a trip to Phoenix sounded like a good idea. So after catching a few rays in Phoenix for a couple of days, they let it head back my way for a bit. Smartpost at Earth City, MO for a quick appearance, then off to Indy for whirlwind stopover. I'm not sure who books these tours but it sure is fun to track and guess where they're going next. It's my favorite game. The wife is betting back to Hebron and I'm thinking another cycle through Phoenix.


Edit: Showed up in Hebron at 4:53AM. Been on the road for nearly two weeks now. I'm going to send a screen shot of the tracking to FedEx/USPS and thank them for inventing this game.

I ordered a pack and some random stuff once and they sent it smartpost. I had a tracking number for UPS, which was fine, I know when they come by my house. The time that it should have come to my house, nothing, so I go to check the tracking and have a different number for the USPS. Then, when it comes time the next day for them to deliver, they decided it was too big for my mailbox, so they put one of those little slips to tell me to drive all the way across town but that it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Smartpost should be sentenced to death by firing squad, along with whoever came up with it.

This isn't 2008. Ethan, his knives, and what he's about has nothing to do with Busse. In my opinion (speaking for myself) that's why people are here. Yes it is off topic, and you have the same rights that every one else does. But at the same time. enter someone else's house with respect. if you knew Ethan on a personal level like many of us do, I don't think anyone would think that's out of line.

I cant see how i was disrespectful but ok! I have Beckers, use them and love them. I just posted pictures of my new 17 yesterday. Im here with respect, i never disrespected Ethan in any way.

Worldwood, this isn't me bashing you or trying to start any trouble with anyone. However many people have pointed out several times that you do post a goodly amount of times about Busse knives on here. Yes, this is the off topic chat, and yes, you will see several posts about different types of knives in here that are not Beckers, but that doesn't mean you need to post so much about Busse in here. You'll notice that when others do post about other knives, they usually only post one or two times about that knife or company and then that's it. Usually because they start asking more questions and having more discussion in those subforums instead of here (if they have a subforum at least) or in general knife chat if they don't. Where Busse has a few forums here, that kind of stuff would be better placed in their forums instead of so frequently here. Again, don't take this as an attack, it isn't, but at the same time we do need to be considerate of the fact that this is the Becker forum, and even if this thread is labeled off-topic, we don't need to abuse that. Personally I like a few of the Busse offerings, and the RMD is a beautiful knife, but there is already a place for discussion of those knives, and really wouldn't you get a better reaction there anyways?

Not trying to start anything, insult anyone, or be rude to anyone, but I don't think showing some consideration for whose forum we are in would be a bad thing, especially when there are better places for those posts elsewhere. Not saying they are disrespectful, only that they are better suited to being posted in their forums instead of here. (I hope none of that made me sound condescending or rude or anything like that. This is just my opinion and doesn't reflect the feelings of E, or anyone else, so take it for the low low price of $0.02.)

I know . I stopped smoking when it became legal here in WA. I don't feel like a rebel anymore so what's the point. Maybe since your sick we'll see more of ya around here moose
