The New Snark

Man, I wanted to go on an outing yesterday, but never got the chance. Was gonna go to Carpenter Park again. Figured I'd take my ESEE's this time, haha. After three threads there with Beckers, thought it would make a nice change. 'Twas too hot anywhos.

I actually had work today :D It felt so good to be working. They are going to HATE me when they get my invoice. Since they fired me my rates went up... Substantially.

Snark should not have a time limit!

That's the best title we get?
If it's anything like the last snark thread I made it will have somewhere near equal amounts of thread titles and posts.

I usually keep an Esee in my Becker bag... Just to confuse everyone!

I remember that one. I found that pretty entertaining.

Have come up with the perfect handgun for me. Unfortunately, it does not exist. Sigh.

They really should serve beer at work. I think they'd be pleasantly surprised with my increase in productivity and quality if I were inebriated.

No, unfortunately. Tolerances are a bit tighter, and it's not likely as feasible to eyeball, ya know? Plus, I want mostly the same design as an existing gun, so not sure what the legalities are of making a close copy, just out of different materials...

I don't really think that gun manufacturing is cost effective to just do at home, and I imagine there are all kinds of legal issues with it. Really not sure, honestly.

I'm gonna have to give this some serious thought. I'm never going to get this gun if I don't make it myself, and I do really want it...

I have seen where they used a 3d printer to make a gun. I don't remember what type bit I think it was printed from some public domain plans for a 1911.

They fired the first few rounds from a distance using a string and with the gun in a vise. :)

What does it look like? Like a Glock?

Wait, you prefer the Springfield Arms ergos don't you? Or was it Walther...

In on one.

The ATF has very strong feelings about people who make firearms at home. I wouldn't even think about before finding out exactly what those are... and I certainly wouldn't talk about it on a public forum.

There is a way to make an AK from a shovel too... I don't remember all the steps, and I don't really know how well I'd trust it but it is possible.

I love that word... It's possible to get a room full of monkeys to type out Shakespeare's collected works, too. ;)

I doubt it it is actually! Cause I've never actually heard of that happening. Granted I'm not in the "writer" world, however I'm pretty sure that would make it's way around the world.

However I have seen people that make the AK.
