The new Tighe breaker is here

Very nice looking knife!! Whoever described the blade as "hypnotic" earlier in the thread was right on the money:thumbup: Very very nice indeed!

Congrats on that one.

Cheers,
Jon

The knife was purchased from KnifeArt.com (for $750.00). It was described as a Hurricane Damascus (The Blade is a 4 inch Stainless blend of Brian Tighe's own formulation). The side plates are CNC Machined of solid Titanium and then tiger striped anodized. the knife is a bit over 9 inches overall and uses a frame lock similar to that of a Sebenza. It is crazy light (5 ounces)and is suicidally sharp. The pictures don't really do it justice.

The knife will be in my collection, at least for now. I'm thinking of making a custom display case for it.

It's an amazing knife but the first word that came to mind when I saw it was, pimp. Lots of bling.

Beautiful blade, $750 isn't that bad relatively speaking for what some makers get for a titanium and damascus flipper these days, I'd say you got off cheap for that beauty. The only thing I would change is the clip, I really prefer tip up carry on a flipper, but that also applies to one I would be carrying since that baby probably isn't going to see any pocket time I don't think it really matters.

I'd Rather Have That In A Display Frame On My Wall, Than An Artsy Picture!

Its Beautiful!!!

Yeah but Tighe blades don't come cheap. I will have to admit that it's my most expensive knife yet.

I wasn't trying to say it was inexpensive, just that it's got a lot of that bling bling factor. :) It really is an amazing knife.

Cannot find the right words to describe this knife (probably thanks to my bad English). Wonderful knife! I am looking for some special folder and this one is the best I have ever seen till now. Thanks for the detailed pics!

Thank you my friend and fellow Czech (I'm Bohemian)as well as all others here who have commented so kindly about my knife. Brian Tighe is an unusually fine craftsman and I feel fortunate to have gotten such a particularly beautiful example of his knife art. I hope to enjoy this knife for many years to come.

Man, those Tighes are AMAZING. I hope he is at Blade this year. A few more pictures like that and he might be getting some of my money.
