The new walkin dead

So far as I have gleaned from those in the know....Everyone has the virus now, but as long as you are not bitten, it doesn't activate until you die. Remember 2 episodes back, Shane and Rick commented about the security guard walkers not having bite marks. And in this episode, Darrel pointed out to Glen that the kid that Shane killed by breaking his neck didn't have bite marks either. Shane obviously wasn't bit. Yet he had the same "activation" visuals as the guy that got bit in season one that they left on the side of the road.

What did they use at the beginning....a Gerber Brush axe? A Machax would have been a much better choice for Zombie skull cracking. It's definatley a go-to blade for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Ok, so somehow my dvr failed to record the walking dead last night while I was at work  Does anybody know where I can watch it online?

Nope. It went in the Disney Vault next the "The Little Mermaid". You can get it on BluRay 3 in 10 years....unless the Mayans are right. Gotta check that DVR!!

Spoiler Alert**

Was it just my imagination or was Shane growling like a zombie at around the time he killed Morgan and as he lurked in the woods watching the group? It seemed to me that he was infected and on his way to turning before Rick stabbed him.

Well, that just ruined it for everyone, thanks.

Until its said on TV, it's just a rumor. But based on what we have SEEN on TV already...it's the only thing that makes sense. Hardly a spoiler. I'm told thats how it works in the books.

Im with the thought process that there is something like an airborne strand of the virus that is non fatal and they are all carriers of it, we will have to wait and see. Whats with everyone in movies and TV wanting to cut there palms and fingertips up? they have to be the most PITA places to have a cut. Did Rick kill Shane with the Gerber Wal-mart special he carries? I would die a miserable death knowing I had been killed with that. BTW, Darrel is my hero.

I took it as his decline from humanity, he was becoming like them, dead on the inside. Many of his actions and perspective were opposite of Dale, the most humane of the group. I saw all this as a metaphor of similarity, not that he was slowly becoming a Walker. Which could have been prevented if he were killed with a BK9 in the first place.

OP needs to edit his post title to include a spoiler alert as do those who include them in their posts please!

Some people haven't seen the episode yet!!

What did you think we were going to be discussing, the thread title is "the new Walking Dead"? I think that was enough of a spoiler alert.

Maybe I was hoping for a little common sense and courtesy towards those who hadn't seen the episode yet, like people who had to work and recorded it. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to watch it when it airs on TV, as was the case with a few members here.

I happen to be one of the people "in the know" so, I might just ruin the rest of the series for everyone else. How about that?

Also, this thread has nothing to do with BK&T.

Ok - I've got to stop watching this show while dinking around on the Becker subforum. Last night, I dreamed we were dealing with zombies and whatnot and I was chapped because I had managed to get my BK9 stuck in some zombie's head. Luckily, someone in my group loaned me a Patrol Machete to help shake her free.

Weird. Maybe that's what happens when I don't get out in the woods all week.

Well, that just ruined it for everyone, thanks.

No offense but you know you haven't seen this episode - why would you read this thread?

You had the choice to read this thread, or to wait till you've seen the episode. Again, did you not see the title of the thread? Go Becker!

So because you're mad you gotta throw in a "Moose Target" on the thread?

I could know every dang thing that happens on any show, its not going to stop me from enjoying it.

This is another example of why I think there should be some lieniency on off topic threads as long as Becker get in there somewhere. People hear still have similar interests and like to talk about said interests to the people they talk to all the time, ie, a favorite forum. Otherwise, why even have an "Off topic" thread marker if off topic threads aren't allowed? (was this even marked off topic...didn't see).

From a theoretical standpoint, zombies and big knives like Becker will always go hand in hand. I have watched TWD many times and said "Man, he should be using a BK9" or..."A Machax would be better"

Also...If you happen to be one of those "In the Know", then there shouldn't be any surprises, right? Whats the big deal?

Play nice, kiddies, or I'll close the playground.

Sucks that Shane is dead. Darryl for the win!!!!!
