The 1911 Combat Survivor is a hollow handle survival knife based on the grip frame of the 1911 Colt Auto. You can carry an extra magazine for your Colt in it or the survival magazine. In the magazine is a diamond hone, magnesium-ferric rod fire starter, fish hooks, needles, Leatherman Micra, synthetic sinew and a flash light on the lanyard. The knife comes complete with the Spec-Ops sheath, the extra mag. and the survival mag.

If you would like to read about field testing of the 1911 Combat Survivor on Kodiak and in the interior of Alaska you can read about it here;

Is that pic of you with the stuffed bear out side the souvenir shop on 4th ave.?

I have never seen the bear on 4th Ave, this picture is of me with a fellow I guided on Kodiak and his bear. It's a big bear but it's not the biggest bear I've ever guided for. My biggest bear had a skull measurement of 29 10/16.
