Those are both out of production. While not technically retired, they're not on the white board either. If we make them again, it might be a while. Sorry. We have a lot on our plate right now, but I'm sure we will revisit them again some day.

He said at the last sale that it was the end of the preliminary run of DEKs... and it wasn't even the usual 10 (pretty sure there were 7 left - a couple in D3V, the rest in AEBL)

Looking for an FK 1 or 2, slight use not an issue, I am in Canada however but will pay accordingly.

This is for my brother's birthday is November 14th.
He loves his knives and quite the woodsman, he teaches knapping making his own knives in flint and arrow-heads.
He is INCREDIBLY hard on things so this seems like the right place, small wonder he makes his own tools.

I am a total new guy here.
Was researching "D2" steel to do with work and found Carothers and the designs and materials are awesome.
I suspect this guy's stuff will be... habit forming, the price is getting up there but that is my problem.

I do Kendo, so swords are more my thing but they are not terribly practical to carry around nevermind use.
