Some people have all the luck !... I wanted a K18 as well but I missed the pre-order and hopes of finding one on the secondary market for a reasonable price for me seems slim to none ...but it's OK as I have a custom short sword being heat treated at Peter's as I type this!... it's similar to the K18 in that their both made from CPM-3V but mine was .223 before being surface ground...and it has a 15 inch blade and a 8 inch handle... it's being made by a fellow forum member...
